1.     Manglik and Marriage

When mars is placed in 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th House from the rising sign at birth or from Moon, the native is considered Manglik.

We know that there are 12 Zodiacs and they all at an average rise on the horizon for 2 hours each day and accordingly all planets change their position based on the Zodiac rising on the horizon.

So, 6 out of 12 houses result in Mangal being placed at a sensitive position for marriage and spouse. Which means 50% of the population is Manglik, but do 50% actually face the issues post marriage? My Answer is NO.

Manglik was of more importance in the 19th and early 20th century, when the life expectancy was 27 years. And today the life expectancy is 70 years. 

with time Astrology too needs to change and with further studies and research in Astrology, one need not fear being Manglik.

2.      Myths about Kaal Sarp Dosha

But the question here remains... does pooja change the planetary position you were born with? No it doesn't. But the pooja gives you positivity, mental peace and hope that everything will get better.
